Tools worth between $15,000 and $20,000 were stolen from an auto shop called All the Details at 1 Champion Drive in unincorporated Fenton. It looked like the culprit broke a window on the north side of the building to get inside and then stole the tools at 2:53 a.m. April 6, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The store manager told deputies he showed up at work at about 7 a.m. that day and noticed the broken window. He also said there were cut marks on the front door, but it was still locked when he arrived, a report said.

The manager said Snap-on brand tools were stolen from an unlocked tool box inside building. As of April 8, the tools had not been recovered, and there were no suspects, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
