Son of Cedar Hill burglary victim, two others arrested in connection with theft of van, electronics, jewelry

 

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at Wood’s Auto, 7828 Hwy. 30, in Dittmer, after authorities were alerted to an alarm going off. The incident happened about 9:20 a.m. June 30, the report said.

The business owner went to the auto shop and found a rear bay door had been forced open. Stolen item included an edge scanner, a diagnostic test tool, a digital multimeter and $100 in cash. In addition, the cost to repair the damaged bay door was estimated at $300, according to the report.
