A shed in the 3600 block of East Dry Fork Road in Imperial was destroyed by a fire Monday (June 17). The fire spread to a nearby pickup, which also was destroyed, Antonia Fire Protection District Chief Michael Arnhart said.
No one was hurt in the fire, he said.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but it does not seem suspicious, Arnhart said.
He said Antonia firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 1:30 a.m., and arrived at 1:36 a.m. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to bring the fire under control, but firefighters remained on the scene until about 4 a.m.
The Saline Valley and Rock Community fire protection districts helped with the call, Arnhart said.
