The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a septic company’s trailer while it was parked on Matheney Drive near Flucom Road southeast of De Soto. The trailer belonged to Madonna’s Septic and Sewer Solutions in the Hillsboro area, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
One of the company’s employees said he discovered the 2022 Rice Trailer missing at about 8:45 a.m. Sept. 11. He said he had left the trailer on Metheney Drive near a home in the 4100 block of Flucom Road because the company was working at that house, the report said.
The Sheriff’s Office did not report an approximate value for the trailer.
As of Monday, Sept. 16, the trailer had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
