The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Rockwell Auto Sales & Auction, 4541 Old Hwy. 21, in Imperial. Three vehicles that were not functioning, along with other items were stolen, authorities reported.
A silver 2008 Saturn Vue, a white 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, a black 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, security cameras and a DVR, multiple vehicle keys and vehicle titles were stolen between May 30 and June 1. The Sheriff’s Office did not provide an approximate value for the stolen SUVs and other items.
The entry door to the business had been left unlocked, the report said.
As of June 10, none of the stolen vehicles or items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
