Arnold Police are investigating vandalism in the men’s and women’s restrooms at Ferd B. Lang Park. The culprits destroyed items in the restrooms, and spray-painted graffiti in them, causing about $1,000 in damage, police reported.
Officers were called at about 3:30 p.m. April 11 after a city employee discovered the damage at the park, 1820 Old Lemay Ferry Road, the report said.
In the women’s restroom, a sink was ripped off the wall and a toilet and all the toilet paper holders were broken. In addition, toilet paper was thrown around the room. Graffiti was found sprayed on the walls, urinals and stall partitions in the men’s room, and the toilet paper holders were broken off the wall, according to the report.
Arnold Police reported that the bathrooms had been left unlocked April 10 because of a pavilion rental at the park.
As of April 22, no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
