Arnold Police are trying to identify two women who allegedly stole $1,076 worth of merchandise from the Walmart Supercenter, 2201 Michigan Ave. The shoplifting occurred about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 27, authorities reported.
Store security reported that two black women allegedly pushed a cart of merchandise out of the store without paying for the items. Then, the two women got into a black Dodge, either a Charger or Challenger, and drove away from the store. When police searched the number on the car’s license plate, it came back as expired and for a Honda, the report said.
As of Jan. 7, the stolen merchandise had not been recovered and the women had not been identified, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
