A 40-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for driving with a revoked license and resisting arrest after he allegedly fled from an Arnold Police officer who tried to stop him for speeding. The incident happened at 8:30 p.m. July 21, Arnold Police report.
After an officer reportedly spotted the man speeding along Old Lemay Ferry Road and tried to stop him, the man refused to immediately pull over and turned onto Pearl Drive and stopped at a home in the 2100 block of that street where he lived, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The man was arrested for speeding, driving with a revoked license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and resisting arrest. He previously had been arrested for driving with a revoked license, so since he’s a repeat offender, Arnold Police will seek charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Jones said.
