Arnold Police are trying to locate four people who reportedly fled from Home Depot, 3865 Vogel Road, after trying to steal more than $2,000 worth of tools from the store. The suspects ditched the merchandise after being confronted by store employees, police reported.
On July 6, two men and two women allegedly left the store through the lumber department with tools worth $2,135.98 without paying for them. An employee confronted them and the four left the store’s parking lot in a gray Ford Focus, the report said.
They were last seen traveling north on I-55. The car had a temporary license plate that had been reported stolen in St. Louis, the report said.
As of July 13, the four suspects had not been identified, and the Focus had not been located, Maj. Clinton Wooldridge said. He asks anyone with information about the car to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
