Police are seeking a 25-year-old Arnold man who allegedly assaulted another man who had thrown him out of a party, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
On Aug. 17, the suspect was at a party at an apartment in the 2000 block of Essex Drive, and he and the victim got in an argument and then the victim “made the (suspect) leave,” Arnold Police reported.
Later, the suspect returned to the apartment, went inside and assaulted the victim – a 27-year-old Arnold man – while he was sleeping, Ruckman said.
The victim was punched and sustained “facial injuries,” Ruckman added.
He said the victim was hospitalized.
The suspect was identified and an arrest warrant was issued, but as of Aug. 21, the man had not been taken into custody, Ruckman said.
He said Arnold Police will seek assault charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
