Arnold Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole car keys from a gym locker, located the victim’s car and stole several items from it. The suspect is a white man in his early 20s with dark hair and a beard. He was driving a blue Saturn when he left the gym’s parking lot, the report said.

The victim told police his keys were stolen between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. July 12 from a locker at Gold’s Gym, 215 Arnold Crossroads Center. The locker was unlocked, according to the report.

After the suspect allegedly took the keys, he reportedly found the victim’s car in the gym’s parking lot and stole a wallet containing several credit and debit cards, along with an iPhone, out of it. The items were valued at $345, the report said.

The suspect then allegedly went to the Walmart Supercenter, 2201 Michigan Ave., in Arnold and tried to use one of the victim’s credit cards to purchase two Xbox One game consoles. The card was declined, and the suspect used a different credit card that did not belong to the victim to make the $850 purchase, according to the report.

As of July 31, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no arrests, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
