Arnold Police are investigating recent thefts from vehicles – one on Maple Meadows, another in the Starling Community mobile home park and the other on Lonedell Road.
One of the thefts occurred between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. April 18, when someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of Maple Meadows. The culprit stole a GPS device and cash from the vehicle. In all, those stolen items were valued at $240, Arnold Police reported
Then, between 2:10 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. April 20, someone entered an unlocked 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer parked in front of a home in Starling Community and stole a car stereo and subwoofer. Those items were valued at $700, the report said.
The third theft happened between 8 p.m. and 9:12 p.m. April 21 in the 2100 block of Lonedell Road. In that case, someone broke the side window on the vehicle to get inside it and then stole a portable radio valued at $15. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $350, according to the report.
As of Wednesday (April 26), none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Detective Lt. James Jones said. He asks anyone with information about the incidents to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
