Arnold Police are investigating a burglary at a home in the 2100 block of Francis Drive. The burglary happened between March 10 and March 17, the report said.
The home was vacant while the owner was working on it. During a week while the owner was away from the home, it looked like the culprit forced open a window to get inside, causing about $100 in damage, Lt. Tom Leassner said.
When the owner returned to the home, he noticed a door open. Nothing was stolen, but there was evidence that someone had been using the home as a shelter, the report said.
For example, police found numerous cigarette butts at the home that did not belong to the owner, Leassner said.
As of March 29, there were no suspects or arrests, Leassner said. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
