Arnold Police are seeking felony drug charges against a 34-year-old Arnold man after he allegedly overdosed on drugs at his home in the 800 block of Weedel Drive, Lt. Brian Carroll said.
At 5:42 p.m. March 2, the man’s mother called Arnold Police, reporting that her son allegedly had taken a drug overdose. Rock Township Ambulance District personnel also were called to the scene, revived the man and transported him to an area hospital, the report said.
The man had just recently been released from a drug treatment center, Carroll said.
When police were on the scene, they allegedly found the man with 10 capsules believed to be heroin, as well as drug paraphernalia, the report said.
Depending on results from drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office Carroll said.
