Arnold Police are investigating the reported theft of a pickup from outside a home in the 2300 block of Summit Drive. The red 2010 Chevrolet Colorado was valued at about $12,000, police reported.
A 57-year-old Arnold man told police he parked the pickup in his driveway at about 4:30 p.m. March 26 and just before midnight he noticed it was gone. The victim also told police he had a loan for the pickup through TitleMax and was several payments behind. However, a representative from the company said the pickup had not been repossessed, the report said.
The report did not say if the owner had the keys to the pickup or if the doors were locked when it was stolen.
As of April 1, the pickup had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Jason Valentine said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
