A pickup recently was stolen from outside Legacy Automotive, 1117 Gravois Road, in unincorporated Fenton. The gray 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 belonged to a customer and left at the business for repairs, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The theft was reported at about 6:40 a.m. Dec. 27 after the owner of the business arrived for work and found the pickup missing. The pickup had been locked and no keys had been left inside, the report said.
No value for the pickup was included in the report.
As of Dec. 29, the pickup had not been recovered and no suspects had been identified, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
