A 19-year-old Pevely woman recently was arrested for assault and other offenses after she allegedly rammed her vehicle into her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle. In addition, the woman had her 6-week-old son in her vehicle when she crashed it into her former boyfriend’s, Arnold Police Lt. James Jones said.

The incident happened on July 9 at Ferd B. Lang Park, 1824 Old Lemay Ferry Road, in Arnold, where the woman’s estranged boyfriend was parked. He had another woman in his vehicle, Jones said.

No one was hurt, but the man’s vehicle was damaged, Jones said.

He said the suspect was booked and released pending application for warrants. The 6-week-old was taken from the mother and turned over to his grandmother, and police contacted Children’s Division, Jones said.

Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for two counts of assault, endangering the welfare of a child and property damage, he said.
