The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified a 25-year-old Pevely man and a 21-year-old St. Louis woman as suspects in the theft of an SUV from outside a Fenton-area mobile home. A green 2010 Jeep Patriot was stolen from outside the home in the 1000 block of Willow Glen Drive, authorities reported.
The victim said she parked the SUV outside the home at about 4:30 a.m. Oct. 5 and noticed it missing at about 3 p.m. that day. She told investigators she had left the SUV, which was worth about $8,000, unlocked with the keys inside it, the report said.
As of Oct. 19, the Jeep had not been recovered and neither of the suspects had been located or arrested, spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the theft should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
