Arnold Police are scheduled on Aug. 17 to interview a 36-year-old Pevely man who reportedly assaulted an Imperial man in the Dairy Queen drive-thru. The man was identified from surveillance video of the altercation, Maj. Clinton Wooldridge said.
Officers were called at about 8:30 p.m. July 28 to the restaurant, 1959 Richardson Road, following the alleged assault. A 43-year-old Imperial man with a cut on his lower lip and a swollen right eye said the other man attacked him, the report said.
The Imperial man, who was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, said he was waiting in the drive-thru when he heard yelling and got out of his car. He said the Pevely man got out of a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse and attacked him, according to the report.
The Imperial man said the Pevely man punched and kicked him before getting back in the driver’s side of the Traverse and leaving, Arnold Police reported.
The Imperial man was treated at the scene, the report said.
The Pevely man was identified, and Arnold Police will question him about the incident, Woodridge said.
