A 16-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after his parents took him to the Eureka Police Department.
At about 1:28 p.m. April 16, the parents showed up at the station with their son after finding a syringe that contained a substance that may be drugs in his room, Lt. David Wilson said.
The substance from the syringe is being tested, Wilson said
“He (the suspect) was claiming that he was holding it for someone else,” Wilson said. “We are investigating it further to see who else was involved in that.”
