Almost $14,000 worth of heating and air-conditioning equipment, tools and other items recently were reported stolen from a home in the 800 block of Saline Road in the Fenton area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The theft was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 1, but occurred on Sept. 15, the report said.
Stolen items included four air-conditioning units, two air-conditioning coils, two electric furnaces, a gas furnace, power tools, scrap metal and other items, altogether valued at $13,929.97, according to the report.
Some items were stolen from the home, some from its garage and some from a trailer parked next to the house. A lock to the garage appeared damaged, the report said.
As of Dec. 11, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
