A 1995 Ford Mustang convertible with a dead battery was stolen from outside a home in the 6700 block of Ike Drive in Barnhart. The car was valued at about $20,000, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim said the car was parked in his driveway at about 9 p.m. July 6, but when he went outside at about 6 p.m. the next day, it was gone, the report said.
As of July 19, the car had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
