Eureka Police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle from a storage unit that had its lock cut off it. The victim said she did not know when the lock was cut from her unit at Eureka Storage, 110 Dreyer Ave., but the theft was reported at about 2:15 p.m. Oct. 9, police reported.
She told police her son stored his Honda motorcycle in the unit, and the motorcycle was gone. The year and model of the motorcycle was not reported, and the value of the Honda was not provided, according to the report.
As of Oct. 23, the motorcycle had not been recovered, and there were no suspects, Lt. Michael Werges said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
