The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle from outside a home in the 5700 block of Dillon Road in High Ridge. The motorcycle was valued at $10,000, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The motorcycle was stolen between 7:30 p.m. July 31 and 2:30 a.m. Aug. 1, when the victim awoke and discovered the vehicle missing. He told investigators the keys to the motorcycle were still in the house. The victim also said the motorcycle “had to be” pushed out of the driveway and loaded onto a trailer because if it had been started, his dogs would have awakened him, the report said.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said Sept. 3 that the motorcycle had not been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
