Eureka Police are investigating the theft of more than $500 worth of items taken from an unlocked pickup parked outside a home in the 800 block of Emerald Oaks Court, Eureka Police reported.
The items were taken between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 3 to 9:30 a.m. Jan. 4 from a 2016 GMC Sierra. The victim is a 35-year-old Eureka man, the report said.
Among the items taken were a Power Ball Lottery ticket, a $10 Dewalt pocket knife, $10 in cash, $15 in change, a $100 laptop charger, a $100 jacket, a tool bag with assorted tools valued at $100 and a $300 Dewalt impact drill, according to the report.
As of Jan. 17, there were no suspects and none of the items had been recovered, Capt. David Wilson said.
