Tools and lawn equipment worth more than $2,000 recently was stolen from a detached garage in the 300 block of Bach Grange in House Springs, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. April 5, someone got inside the garage and stole three chainsaws, two of them Stihl chainsaws, as well as two Stihl weedeaters and two DeWalt cordless drills, altogether valued at $2,100, the report said.
The victim told deputies that when he and his wife returned from church on April 5, they noticed one of the garage doors open and found the items missing, according to the report.
As of April 13, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriffs’ Office.
