About $11,200 in tools and other items recently were stolen from a garage in the 7000 block of Hillview Drive in Dittmer, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between Nov. 14 and Nov. 15, someone forced open the front door to the garage, which also is used as a workshop, and stole power tools, a generator, a battery charger and other items, the report said.
The theft was reported Nov. 24.
As of Dec. 4, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
