The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Shuman Lawn and Landscaping, 16 Lakenny Lane, in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, where $10,460 in equipment was stolen. The burglary happened between July 5 and July 10, the report said.
Someone broke into an unlocked box trailer outside of the business and stole a zero-turn lawn mower; a concrete saw; a backpack blower and a trimmer. As of July 17, the stolen items had not been recovered, Sgt. Matthew Moore said.
He said no arrest had been made either. Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
