A remote-control boat, remote-control car, batteries and a stereo head unit were taken from an unlocked SUV that was in a parking lot at George Winter Park in Fenton, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The victim said she arrived at the park at about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 1 and returned to her 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee at about 7:30 p.m.

She said she had left the SUV unlocked, the report said.

An RC M41 remote-control boat, an RC E-Revo remote-control car, batters and stereo head were taken from the SUV. The items are estimated to be worth a combined $1,350, according to the report.

As of Aug. 6, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Major Gary Higginbotham said.
