Arnold Police are investigating recent thefts from vehicles parked along Key West Drive, Melody Lane and other streets in that neighborhood. The thefts happened between midnight and 8:20 a.m. May 16, according to Arnold Police.

One of them occurred in the 1900 block of Key West Drive. At that address, someone broke out the rear passenger-door window on a vehicle, causing about $300 in damage, and then stole about $1,385 in electronics and personal items from the vehicle, Arnold Police Detective Sgt. James Jones said.

Later, a passerby found some of the items in a yard in the 1900 block of Melody Lane, and those items were returned. About $1,000 in items were still missing, though, Jones said June 3.

Another theft happened on Indian Rock Court, where someone broke out the rear passenger-side window on a vehicle and stole a wallet that contained several credit cards. The damage to that vehicle was estimated at $200, and the wallet was valued at $27, the report said.

A third theft from a vehicle in the neighborhood occurred in the 1600 block of Melody Lane. In that case, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Taser-brand stun gun valued at $75, according to the report.

As of June 3, there were no suspects or arrests, Jones said.
