Eureka Police are investigating damage to an electric hand dryer and a toilet in the men’s restroom at Drewel Park, 2 Hill Drive. The damage was estimated at $720, Eureka Police reported.
An officer discovered the damage at about 9:10 p.m. June 14 when he was securing the restroom for the night. When he looked inside, he saw shattered porcelain in one of the stalls and then discovered the damage, the report said.
The dryer had been ripped off a wall, leaving two electric wires exposed, and then it was used to shatter the toilet, according to the report.
As of June 29, no suspects had been identified, Lt. Tom Wille said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
