Man, woman allegedly steal items from Arnold home

Loyd Triplett III

An Imperial man and Arnold woman have been accused of stealing from a man whom the woman was caring for at an Arnold home. The two allegedly stole approximately $3,000 worth of items, according to court documents.

Loyd Everett Triplett III, 49, of Imperial and Kimberly Ann Teklinski, 38, of Arnold have each been charged with felony stealing. Triplett was arrested on Feb. 6 and held on a $5,000 bond and Teklinski is scheduled to make an initial appearance in Jefferson County Court on March 9, court records show.

According to a probable-cause statement filed by Arnold Police, Teklinski opened the garage door at the home of a man she was the caretaker of on Sept. 27 in the 2300 block of Jackson Drive. She and Triplett then allegedly stole two welders, three tanks and a black bag.

Triplett put the items in his vehicle and drove away, the report said.

The man said he did not give Triplett or Teklinski permission to take the items from the garage, according to the report.
