A 35-year-old Washington man and a 42-year-old O’Fallon woman allegedly damaged a hotel room at Holiday Inn St. Louis West at Six Flags, 4901 Six Flags Road, in Eureka. The damage was discovered June 12, the day after the hotel’s night manager ejected the two guests, Eureka Police reported.
The two were ordered out of the hotel after they appeared intoxicated and allegedly caused a disturbance at about 10 p.m. June 11. Police were called to the hotel at about 11:50 a.m. the next day after hotel staff allegedly found their room filled with food debris and liquid pools on the floor, walls and furniture. Broken glass and crushed beer cans also were found in the room, the report said.
The damage to the room was estimated at more than $1,000, according to the report.
Eureka Police will apply for warrants against the man and woman through the Eureka Municipal Court for destruction of property, Capt. David Wilson said.
