Arnold Police are trying to find a man who allegedly used a baseball bat to break a window on a car at the Mobil on the Run gas station, 3611 W. Outer Road. A teenager was sitting in the driver’s seat of the 2015 Audi S4 when the window was shattered, police reported.
The victim, an Imperial 17-year-old said a man got out of a Kia Sorento at about 10:45 p.m. Oct. 2 and shattered the window. The teenager said he didn’t know who the man was or why he smashed the window, the report said.
The car reportedly was seen on the parking lot outside the nearby Lakewood Landing Apartment complex. However, officers were unable to locate the car, according to the report.
The cost to repair the window was estimated at $300, the report said.
As of Oct. 13, the suspect had not been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
