Arnold Police arrested a 26-year-old St. Louis man who allegedly left without paying his bill at the Hotshots Bar and Grill, 131 Arnold Crossroads Center. The man was arrested at the nearby Steak ’n Shake restaurant, 120 Arnold Crossroads Center, police reported.
Hotshots and Steak ’n Shake are both in the Crossroads shopping center, which is near Hwy. 141 and Jeffco Boulevard.
The man went to the bathroom after receiving a $61.37 bill at Hotshots, but after exiting the bathroom, the man left the bar and grill without paying the bill. An employee confronted the man outside the business, but the man ran away, the report said.
Police found the man and arrested him. He was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and released, according to the report.
Arnold Police issued the man a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged stealing, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
