The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 26-year-old Florissant man who was allegedly caught burglarizing Dave’s Dynamite Deals, 2929 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. The man was found in a detached garage at the car dealership, police reported.
Deputies were called on April 8 to the business after the owner was alerted to movement around the building by surveillance cameras. The man entered the building through a locked door that was easy to open, the report said.
The man took items from vehicles in the parking lot and detached garage, according to the report.
The man was taken the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, where he was booked and released pending the application for warrants.
The Sheriff’s Office will seek a charge against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for burglary, spokesman Grant Bissell said.
