A 35-year-old Arnold man was arrested after he allegedly was found inside a bathroom at the Raising Cane’s restaurant, 1163 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold with a substance believed to be methamphetamine. The man had been inside the bathroom for about 30 minutes before an employee called police, Arnold Police reported.

Officers arrived at about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 16, and after the man didn’t open the door for employees, he opened it when police knocked on the door. The man was wanted on a warrant from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and was arrested, the report said.

When the officers searched a backpack the man had with him, they allegedly found a small bag containing meth and a glass smoking pipe. The man was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and then transported to the Sheriff’s Office in Hillsboro, according to the report.

Depending on results of the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
