Arnold Police are searching for a person who allegedly used a lost debit card to purchase items at Walmart, 2201 Michigan Ave. The card belonged to a 36-year-old Arnold woman, police reported.
The victim called police at about 9:40 p.m. April 21 to report the fraudulent charges. She said at about 6:50 p.m. that day, she dropped her debit card in the parking lot of the Circle K gas station, 504 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, the report said.
The woman also told investigators that an hour later the card was used for three different times at Walmart. She said there were two other attempts to use the card at the store, but her bank denied the transactions, according to the report.
As of May 1, the debit card had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the debit card or fraudulent charges to call the Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
