The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of light fixtures for homes being built by McBride and Sons in the 1200 block of Timber Creek Lane in Imperial. Altogether the lighting was valued at about $1,300, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The theft occurred between about 1 p.m. May 22 and 6:45 a.m. May 23. Several sealed boxes containing the fixtures were taken from an open garage at the construction site, the report said.
As of June 1, none of the stolen fixtures had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
