Weedeaters, chainsaws and other items recently were stolen from a home in the 7000 block of Twin River Road in the Eureka area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The burglary was reported at 2:53 p.m. Feb. 10, after the victim noticed the missing items, including three weedeaters, three chainsaws, two car jacks, a power washer, a rolling toolbox and miscellaneous hand tools. Altogether, the items were valued at $3,900, the report said.
It looked like someone removed a window to get in the house and steal the items, according to the report.
As of Wednesday (Feb. 15), none of the items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
