Arnold Police are investigating the theft of lawn care equipment and wallet from outside the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2211 Tenbrook Road. The victim was mowing the church’s lawn when the items were stolen from his truck and trailer, police reported.
A 55-year-old High Ridge man reported the theft on June 14. He said he had parked his truck at about 12:30 p.m. at the church and returned at about 2:30 p.m., the report said.
He said a Stihl backpack blower and Stihl string trimmer were stolen from the trailer, and his wallet was stolen from the pickup. The wallet was recovered near the intersection of Telegraph Road and Forder Road in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
The approximate value for the lawn care equipment was not reported, and Arnold Police did not know if items were stolen from the wallet, the report said.
As of June 18, the stolen items had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
