Two Festus juveniles were arrested shortly after they reportedly robbed M&O Smoke Shop, 1162 W. Gannon. One of the suspects allegedly said he had a gun and threatened the store manager, Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis said.
The incident happened about 5 p.m. Dec. 15, he said
“They stole some smoking devices, vaping products,” Lewis said.
The suspects were wearing masks, he added.
Officers quickly located the suspects a short distance away in a 2010 Ford Focus.
“Officers in the area observed the vehicle by the Hardee’s (1305 Veterans Blvd./Hwy A),” Lewis said.
He said the suspects were arrested and turned over to juvenile authorities.
