A purse containing credit cards was stolen from a car parked outside the Jimmy John’s restaurant, 1266 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. The car and purse belonged to one of the restaurant’s employees, a 36-year-old woman, who was working at the time, Arnold Police reported.
Between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. March 27, someone pried open the lock on the passenger-side door of the 2005 Pontiac Grand Am and stole the purse, which contained credit cards and other items. The damage to the door was estimated at $200, and the purse and its contents were valued at about $50, the report said.
None of the credit cards were, according to the report.
As of April 5, the purse and its contents had not been recovered, and there were no suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
