shattered window

Arnold Police are investigating the theft of several items from a Jeep while it was parked behind the Twisted Blade barber shop. The stolen items included a purse, designer sunglasses and a wallet, altogether valued at about $2,200, police reported.

A 50-year-old House Springs man said he arrived for work at the barber shop, 221 Arnold Crossroads Center, at about 1 p.m. April 27, and at about 4 p.m., he got a phone charger out of the 2016 Jeep Wrangler. When he returned to the vehicle at about 8 p.m., he discovered the window was shattered and the purse was missing, the report said.

The cost to replace the window was estimated at about $400, according to the report.

As of May 6, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
