Thieves stole $3,070 in equipment from a home in the 100 block of Lark Drive in unincorporated Fenton. The burglary happened Dec. 10, the Jefferson County Sheriff Office reported.
The victim told investigators he left for work at 8:30 a.m. and when he returned at 9:30 p.m., he noticed a mig welder, two tool sets and a chainsaw missing. It is not known how entry was gained, but the victim believes the front door may have been unlocked, the report said.
On Dec. 13, Sgt. Matthew Moore of the Sheriff’s Office said none of the stolen items had been recovered and there had been no arrests. Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
