Arnold Police are seeking a 48-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, both of Imperial, for allegedly passing a counterfeit $100 bill at Advance Auto Parts, 3800 Jeffco Blvd. An employee called Arnold Police at 12:15 p.m. June 21 to report that someone had used the counterfeit bill there that day, the report said.
The bill was like one often used as a prop in a movie and had the word, “production,” on it, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said Arnold Police were able to use order numbers from purchases the suspects made at the store to identify them. As of today (June 28), though, the two had not been taken into custody, Jones said.
