About $20,000 in jewelry recently was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Meadow Lane in Imperial. The burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 26, while the victim was at work, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
It’s unknown how the culprit got into the home, the report said.
Seven gold rings, two gold necklaces and one gold bracelet were stolen. As of Feb. 3, none of the stolen items was recovered, Capt. Gary Higginbotham said.
He said no suspects had been identified and no arrests had been made either. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
