Arnold Police issued a summons to a 16-year-old Hillsboro boy after he allegedly drove a car into a prohibited area for vehicles at Arnold City Park. The car became stuck in mud after it was driven into the grassy area, police reported.
At about 4 a.m. Jan. 28, officers saw a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt about 500 feet off the road in the park on Bradley Beach Road off Jeffco Boulevard near the Meramec River. The driver was released to a parent, the report said.
An estimate for the damage to the grassy area was not provided.
The teen received a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for allegedly driving where prohibited, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
