A 40-year-old High Ridge woman recently was arrested for allegedly stealing $124 in items from the Kohl’s store in Arnold, Arnold Police report.
At 12:51 p.m. Dec. 7, Arnold Police got a call that the woman had stolen two bottles of cologne, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
Store security personnel followed the woman to her vehicle in the parking lot, and she gave back one of the bottles of cologne, but drove away before returning the other one, Ruckman said.
She was identified, and later the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office picked her up and then turned her over to Arnold Police, who took her into custody, the report said.
She was booked and then released on a summons to appear in Municipal Court for misdemeanor stealing, Ruckman said.
