A double-wide mobile home in the 3200 block of Pearl Court in High Ridge was significantly damaged when a fire started July 26.
High Ridge Fire Protection District Chief John Barton said two adults and a child living at the home escaped the blaze unharmed.
High Ridge Fire was dispatched at 7:15 a.m., with the first unit reporting heavy smoke and visible flames coming from the back of the home, Barton said.
“Crews initiated a fire attack and conducted both a primary and secondary search of the home to ensure there were no other victims,” he said. “The structure suffered significant damage, and the Red Cross was notified to provide assistance to two adults and one child living at the home.”
Barton said the fire was investigated, and as of Monday, the cause is still undetermined.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 9:23 a.m. High Ridge Fire was assisted by the Fenton and Saline Valley fire protection districts and the North Jefferson County Ambulance District.
